Generator Monitoring

If a power failure occurred, due to the loss of normal power, then these organizations need to know that their generator is running and continues to run by monitoring fuel levels and fault conditions. It is imperative that a facility know that they can depend on the generator that has been sitting on standby should the need arise. The customer will know if the generator is ready to start by monitoring the fuel, oil level, starter battery power and other parameters. The Falcon FMS - designed by RLE Technologies, is a comprehensive monitoring system with extreme versatility that allows it to monitor numerous types of signals and equipment. The FMS can monitor the UPS equipment status and send out summary alarms. GENMON12

The GENMON12 is designed to monitor generator batteries and determine if the battery is capable of performing during a generator start. The unit incorporates a real-time LED display that continually shows the voltage percent level of the battery at all times. This display will identify batteries that are not fully charging and/or overcharging. During a generator start, the unit monitors the battery voltage and if the battery falls below the cranking rate set-point as preset by the factory, the unit will automatically illuminate and latch the FAILURE LED. The unit also incorporates a dry contact for an alarm output for remote alarm notification. The unit alarm and latched LED can be cleared by depressing the RESET button.
