Wireless Sensors

The Wi-PTM is a wireless receiver that operates at various frequencies including 418MHz and 900MHz. This receiver is capable of communicating with a combined maximum of 250 wireless I/O points. The Wi-PTM passes the wireless data directly to an RIS appliance for seamless integration with Environet graphics, trends, and alarms. With optional repeaters, the Wi-PTM can accommodate sensor ranges of up to thousands of feet. Some of the advantages to using this sensor include; wireless communication, ease of installation, virtually no configuration, and a seamless integration with Environet Monitoring Systems.

The Wi-TS is a battery-operated (AA battery) digital temperature sensor with a microprocessor controlled 418MHz (or 900MHz) FCC-certified radio transmitter. The unique design of the system architecture allows the Wi-TS to consume minimal power resulting in a battery life of up to 5 years. Replacing the battery is a simple task that requires unhinging the front cover and placing the new battery in the sensor. The advantages to this sensor include: wireless communications, ease of installation, seamless integration with Environet Monitoring Systems, Standard AA battery powered (inexpensive replacement) and up to a 5 year battery life.
