Q: What’s your role at PTI?
National Sales Director/ My role is to develop a sustainable sales strategy that continues to grow regardless of the economy. PTI provides turnkey solutions on a national level for all different types of businesses. I’m really excited about this opportunity.
Q: What do you like best about your job?
Listening and asking questions. Our customers have some very complex facilities they are managing. I enjoy actively listening while asking pertinent questions to find out more. Consulting is what I enjoy doing.
Q: What’s the most challenging part of your job?
Disappointing a customer. It happens but I don’t like it. When I was in the Navy, I had a Chief tell me once, “The only thing worse than bad news is LATE bad news.” I live by that.
Q: Where are you from? Family? Pets?
I am from all over the place. With my father being a Radio personality, we moved a lot. We ended up in Nebraska my last year of high school. I met my wife in school right before I went into the Navy. After 7 years of traveling in the Navy, my wife Kellie and our first son came back to Nebraska to put down permanent roots. There isn’t a better place to live. We had two more boys and raised all three in Gretna. Our family continues to grow with 3 granddaughters and hopefully a lot more in the near future. We also have two Goldendoodles that love playing with the grandkids.
Q: What’s your favorite thing to do outside of work?
I’m fascinated about the science and process of making bullets rounds. I use different bullet recipes to make 9mm and 45mm rounds.
Q: What’s your favorite movie?
The Jerk
Q: What’s your favorite tv show?
Last Man Standing
Q: What’s your favorite music?
Country
Q: What’s your favorite food?
Italian and good Czech food. When it was around, Bohemian Cafe was great, but it wasn’t as good as my Aunt Rosie’s!
